At either Chez Manon or Au Pain de Manon — two traditional Parisian bakeries — get a hands-on experience preparing bread and croissant dough. Hear fascinating facts about iconic French pastries, and gain the know-how to differentiate one baguette from another. Learn the difference between bread flours, yeast and sourdough, how to laminate dough, and baguette-shaping techniques. This tour requires you to be able to stand for an extended period of time. It is 15 steps to the bakery on the 2nd floor with no elevator.
