Meet your guide at the palace and then start exploring the Palace of Versailles, with 700 rooms and 1,250 fireplaces. Visit the king's and the queen's apartments, the Chapel, and the Coronation Room. Learn about the interesting history of the palace from your guide during the tour. After this, check out the Hall of Mirrors, a grand gallery that faces the gardens. Go to the Salon of Abundance to see the beautiful painted ceiling. Next, if option selected, proceed to the gardens, which cover 1,800 acres. Admire the olive groves and lush lawns, and visit the fountains from April to October. Enjoy a music show, depending on the time of year. Finally, return to the starting point and say goodbye to your guide.

The guided portion takes place inside the Palace There is no guided tour of the gardens Photography is permitted throughout the tour but no flashes are allowed inside Extra measures may be implemented at some venues due to heightened global security You may experience delays in getting through the mandatory security checks Entry to the gardens is free of charge from November to March, and no ticket is required during this period However, from April to October, a ticket is necessary to visit the gardens but the activity provider will get this for you (if option selected). During this period you'll have the opportunity to freely explore the gardens at your own pace and enjoy the musical show inside the Gardens of Versailles.
