Description

The group will start at the Maison de Victor Hugo, located in Place des Vosges, the quintessential royal square of Paris. Here, we will admire the late Medieval architecture and open the novel The Hunchback of Notre-Dame to read an excerpt. As we wander through the streets, we will explore the Saint-Paul village, the 13th-century Philippe Auguste wall, the Hôtel de Sens, medieval houses, and the Île de la Cité. All these elements of medieval Paris will be brought to life through the history of Paris and the construction of its iconic cathedral. For both young and old, the tour will also draw parallels between the points of interest and the Disney animated film The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.
